Zach: Oh I just truly don't care if people think I'm silly because I find it enjoyable and freeing, and honestly pretty funny when something weird I do riles someone up. I like the interplay of emotionality between performer and performed-at, and keeping it to comedy or art keeps it sort of safe, you know? I get to determine their emotional state with how I act and that's a lot of responsibility which I do my best not to tread on, because it's scary being vulnerable. I would rather fill that void of vulnerability with joy through laughter, or at least make them very confused, because that's at least better than making them sad. Broden: Oh I'm just a really, really, really good guy who likes playing with his best friends. I lend an air of legitimacy because sure I am traditionally attractive and reinforce that there is a masculine adult in the room which is why I often play teachers or dads. But we've all got that silly dog inside us sometimes so when in Rome, right? I just love these boys and they act silly all the time and I love supporting them when they do that and it lets me explore my silly side that, when you're traditionally very very good looking and muscly and handsome and a man society tells you to worry about footy or hammers or business or war and honestly I'd rather just play with my friends.
