Credit where credit is due your comments have made me look into the situation more closely. I'm an anti-theist. Even so I'm not a fan of placing hate upon anyone for their faith. I'm sorry your experience of Christianity is so negative, as is mine. But it helps a lot of people every day.

I am horrified by the genocide of indigenous people, reparations and acknowledgment is incredibly important. I never said the slaughter was justified in any part of my response. The reason the number matters is if true, it would be the worst genocide the world has ever seen.

Hi! I never said colonisation started in the 19th century. It started in the 15th century and ended in 1783 with the Treaty of Paris. The source states there were 10 million indigenous people at the start of the colonisation (15th century), that finished in 1783, and ended in the 19th century.

So; after looking it up that is actually disgusting. I was aware of the atrocities committed against native Americans but this is new on me.

100 million slaughtered. My brother in Christ there were only slightly more than 10 million indigenous people living in the Americas at the time. Statistically speaking; 90% of that post is “made up”, and the biggest killer was disease not Christians.
