Ne sorry. Ich hab angefangen, aber da ist es ja spannender das Telefonbuch zu lesen.

But wait, it used to be common practice to only sell games in finished and playable condition. You didn't just sell people an unfinished game and call it a live service. There was also a demo for every game. So you knew exactly what you were spending your hard-earned money on.

Looks more like a bad decision of the developers since other games still work.

I don’t even think the developers did that intentionally. Guess they just didn’t think about the case PSN goes completely down.

No it’s all optional stuff. But it seems the game checks if you still own the licenses you had when you started the game, before it lets you load a save game.
In theory I could start from the beginning without all the optional stuff. But already put a lot of time into that game.

It's kind of ironic that I canceled my digital pre-order for the game and decided to buy the physical version because I didn't want to be dependent on online services for a pure singerplayer game.

As an older gamer, I can finally say, yes, everything was better in the old days.

As someone with a paired CD drive, I can say that even that doesn't help to play offline. I just wanted to play Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 from CD, but couldn't load my local save because the license for the additional content can't be checked due to the lack of an internet connection to the PSN.
