Disappointed to see ppl refuse to get out of their comfort zone for even a second especially considering how effective immersion can be in terms of language learning. If you expect ppl to know English when coming to the US it should go the other way too

It’s proof how centric the world is around America the fact that they could get by just fine that way, it’s almost as if they rely on the fact that Japanese ppl have to learn English in some fashion but that way of thinking is so flawed when you’re quite literally in a foreign country
