To be fair, it's better now than back then because they actually have a search function for artists now while it really used to just be advertised as 'a place for artists to organize their commission queue' which... most of us already can do independently? and they take money for it? no thanks.

Yea, as an artist I have always felt the latter opinion and honestly put my prices higher on vgen to compensate. again, as someone who has been following vgen since the start (and wasn't even given a spot in the beta lol) I've just never enjoyed the concept as an artist.

this is so true because I really never understood why artists (who are based outside of US) are so interested in vgen, it literally just also uses paypal which means your money goes to the site for no real reason (especially during the beta, they were just using artists to build their platform).
