Born, currently living, eventually not living.
@chrislhayes.bsky.social I'm currently watching your show and Chuck Schumer is saying that Hamas is using Palestinians as human Shields so I googled that and the UN as well as other organizations have found absolutely no evidence of this whatsoever.

How do we move from moral outrage to moral direction? I want to stop saying and hearing "why did they do that?" And instead say "what we need now is..." Because what we need now is a focus on humanity, on kindness, on lifting everyone up, on making sure those with the least have their needs met.

Don't fall for the fear. Demand government gives voice to the voiceless rather not scapegoat them for political gain. We can not give up our humanity to appease a bully pulpit, a billionaire puppet. Be sure to share your kindness. We all do better when we are all lifting together. Demand humanity.

My voice may not have the power to change what is happening, but I can point out that the changes our government is making in how it treats immigrants and citizens alike is harmful to everyone; how it is failing to respond to global atrocities or global warming;

I believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. History is filled with the villification of one group to lift the status of another. This country has often fallen on skin color as the means of identifying who we vilified. There is enough wealth here to lift everyone.

While it is easy to wax poetically to like minded people about the ills of the day, don't forget that our representatives still need to hear from us if they misrepresent us. I feel misrepresented. You can find and contact your elected officials at www.usa.gov/elected-offi...

A perfectly placed asteroid killed all of the dinosaurs for this. Moments matter in a constantly expanding wave of impact on our future. Your kindness today will ripple through the generations. Be hopeful in the chaos. Also I'm completely for big government that takes care of all living things.

Think globally, act locally means pay attention to what happens while focusing on what you can. Share a meme, a phone call to a legislator, a donation, a kind word, a hand, a space, a word, your voice, your time. In an overwhelming time focus on the one step you can take and take it with kindness.

I ride my bike to work every day. I dress for the weather. I take a picture. I make a post. Each step gets me through the day. The world may be overwhelming, but we can all take tiny steps together. Grab a hand, take a step, be kind. Unite against hate.

Here I am, a little bit chilly this morning. We take care of each other. As an hourly barage of someone else's reality hits you, remember what you know is true. We are all in this together. And, it is better when we are kind to each other.
