Same! I’m trying out a new-to-me technique: knitting the tube and then adding toe, cuff and heel later. Not sure if I will like it, but I was intrigued enough to try. I have my tubes done, now to move on to the toes first, so I can accurately determine where the heels go. 🧶 #KnitSky #PurlyGirlErin

It looks like Log Cabin squares with just two colors per square. I’ve made a couple of blankets with this technique. Zoom in on the light pink to see the texture of the Log Cabin pattern.

Wow! I never thought of knitting socks this way. My favorite way is magic loop two-at-time-cuff-down. But I might need to give this a try!! Do you always do the C/T/H in a contrasting color? Here’s the pair I’m working on right now.

Me too! I've never seen this combined with cables - lovely! Here's a blanket I made with this stitch. It's a modification of "Alex's Blanket" (on Ravelry). I repeated the garter, stockinette, "daisy", and seed stitch rows. It turned out beautifully. #KnitSky 🧶
