So he really does mean what it sounds like he means. That’s freaking crazy. I don’t follow him (just had the impression that he’s supposedly on the left) so I had difficulty interpreting the tweet because it’s so dumb.

Could someone please explain to me how Ryan Grim could possibly think that Trump would be on the side of the bottom in a “bottom v top” movement? Am I misreading this? Can he possibly be serious? If so it’s literally one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.

People get tired of hearing it, but I don’t care because it should be repeated incessantly: if Obama or Biden or Kamala had openly called for the execution of political opponents, the reaction of the NYT would have been *cataclysmic*. The earth would quake with their outrage & disdain.
