Proud to contribute a chapter to the edited volume on “The Nuclear-Water Nexus” - it’s on desalination (of course!), and traces how the U.S. Cold War push for nuclear-powered desal linked dreams of solving water scarcity to foreign policy goals and the broader promise of peaceful atomic energy.
