Its better than I thought it'd look but still definitely saw better ideas online. Maybe if the stylist went for a more detailed look and the hair was styled differently I'd see it more.

Overall, if you're looking for something fun and easy to pick up and play, this game was a solid platformer I just highly recommend not trying to 100 percent it, these levels get hard fast.

The new items are fine with a bubble and elephant transformation. It just feels weird and a little wrong at times to turn Daisy and other beloved characters into elephants. I feel like there are other ways to have done a water themed transformation (cheep cheeps maybe?)

Unlike some other Mario games I've played in the past, this one struggles with player interaction. While it is a Multi-player game, players have no collision with each other (compared to Super Mario Bros Wii). It just doesn't feel as thought out.

What really made me pick up Wonder was the music. This game has a phenomenal soundtrack and memorable game levels due to its use of music within the level. It's gimmick of collecting wonder seeds through trials often times relied on learning timing.

I'm also not a music person like my wife but it also had the best song in game it made me feel like I was playing a 2000s skating game.

Literally cannot stand Ardyn. Why was his DLC the best of them all? It was like a villainous Spiderman game.

Hiso aliens are literally the cutest. Someone find me merch and help me keep my phone safe from them.

What kept me playing and what made this game so good was the characters and the story. Its easy to love these characters and want to spend time improving relationships with them. I'm looking forward to the Final Fantasy team finishing the series and seeing where it goes next.

The same could be said about photo mode in FFVII Rebirth which could benefit by transitioning which models are used as the photo models have the most soulless eyes compared to the cutscene models who is what we actually want pictures of as they are BEAUTIFUL.

What I would wish to see them improve in the third game is the maps and party UI. I find myself wasting time looking for how to switch between party members as its not intuitive and the map struggles with multilevel areas and showing items of interest.

Lastly, the UI. I had no issue with it in Remake, however Remake was one of the first games I ever completed. Since then, I have completed over 45 games and have experienced a lot more game UIs. It's led me to realizing there could be some major improvements.

I feel like I didn't really gain anything from exploration that truly mattered and the map set up made it frustrating to explore as it could often be difficult to navigate areas, specifically places like traveling through multi-level terrain like through mountains was especially difficult.

There are research towers, random enemies to fight and meet certain conditions during the battle, etc. They unlock items in Chadley's shop and allow you to unlock extra summons.

The side content also makes this game a lot harder to enjoy. While the side quests are often funny and the mini games are enjoyable, you can tell the developers wanted to truly highlight how open world this game was compared to FFVII Remake (which was more linear).
October 6, 2025 at 12:43 AM
The game gets convoluted and there are moments where it becomes too confusing to the point of frustration. The story becomes heavily symbolic and leaves a lot to be determined by the player. It makes it hard to say that this is the definitive way to play FFVII.
