If the royals wanted one of the Sox OFers, do you think Garcia is a possibility?
Maybe like Abreu + Tolle or something?

Tatum/Brown/White/PP/Hauser as a core is about ~160mil in 26/27 and with luxury tax at ~205, would you say there is a path to keeping that core while staying under the tax (essentially rest of roster is rookie contacts +mins)

Kind of a random q but do you think Garcias breakout makes the Sox more open to listening on Duran/Abreu? Bc if say, Rafaela doesn’t work they have a plan b in Garcia.

Any reason why the Sox are pushing Mayer and Campbell down the d spectrum?
Wouldn’t it make sense to have Mayer SS and Campbell 2B (or at least OF) instead of making them play less valuable positions?

Do you think this is how the redsox operate in terms of trades? Choose who they want to trade and see who they can get? Or more of the old school way

Kind of a random q but looking back at the trade deadline last year… was there a process in trading like 10 prospects? Obv no one was notable, but was it just about cleaning 40man spots or did they just not care ab the value and wanted to win?

Not this season, but if Bregman doesn’t opt out, is Devers at DH the best long term alignment?
Casas 1b
Campbell 2B
Mayer SS
Bregman 3B

Let’s say the Breslow doesn’t make any more big moves but does extend Crochet to a reasonable deal
How do you view that trade?

Only a year of control so wouldn’t cost much and feels like a guy that has a bit more potential

Where do you think Duran settled?
He’s probably not a 6 WAR guy, but do you think he’s better than the 3 WAR projection?
A legit all star or more a solid player?

Is probably to sign one of the 3 FA aces, being back O’Neill or a similar bat, and sign a backend bullpen option. Maybe also get a guy like Bieber for upside
Not in love with trading the young core for pieces just to make moves
