eventually it does get more interesting. If I take this red room here, I won't have it in my draft pool later plus if I get enough red rooms I can get extra gems from this one secret thing... or do I go for this combo that could get me coins and let me buy out the commissary... etc etc. I enjoyed it

It felt like I was getting new information each run + I enjoyed the room placement/resource management layer.
That said, I stopped playing with more secrets left to uncover after 84 hours. I don't know why I stopped but if I could have skipped to the rooms I needed I probably would have continued.
