The media is talking about toys and Christmas, but it should be screaming about building materials! Roofing, flooring, plumbing, electrical, etc.. The supplies that allow us to develop and grow.

Hardware store here. We are f’d! Our inventory is depleting, with a lot less product in our distribution center to replenish stock. Less product to buy, less product to sell, less money coming in, fewer jobs. Fewer jobs in our small community is a big deal. Less money for the grocery store, etc.

Why do we keep talking about movies and toys? What about the massive amount of building materials we import from China? Roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc. The cost of shelter is certainly going to increase! The cost of development and growth is certainly going to go up!
