The ACNH & Pikmin 4 updates I feel really spell out the Nintendo approach going forward I feel. By giving out these updates, it will help keep these franchises relevant, while allowing development resources to go to other projects.

So #paxaus2025 is done, and I have to say it felt like it may have been the best one since the pandemic.
Lines felt well managed, merch well stocked, plenty of games to see and play, and some really fantastic panels.

Just played Dear Me I Was... Took maybe 40 mins to finish.
Cried a bunch. Very touching little story. Given how cheap it is, I do recommend it if you like the sound of a short narrative game that tugs on the heart strings.

Unfortunately I fell victim to launch hardware faults, with a line of pixel discolouration appearing on my Switch 2's screen on Tuesday evening.
Fortunately (thanks to Australia's sound consumer protection laws) it was easy enough to replace at EB, but man... was it a process to deal with saves...

The news about Totaka's song on MKW just reminded me how these videos basically just created a permanent part of my brain that constantly thinks about that easter egg and where it may be hidden in his other credited games.

I am still catching up on all the various gaming showcases and man, it's crazy to me how so many games (especially from indies) if you showed them to me 10-15 years ago, they would have instantly been a must buy.
But now so many games hit on the same notes, it is overwhelming, so I get none of them

Do you ever think about how of all the strawhats Luffy has probably had the least traumatic backstory that we know of?
Like there is still a chance to pull something on us with his mum, but so far it is relatively ok.

I don't know what the consensus is on this. But to me this was exactly what I wanted for a Pokemon Snap sequel. Lot's of Pokemon, from all generations, with more tracks to explore.
