@mrjamesob.bsky.social the biggest down side to being fully remote is how to train and mentor junior members of staff. There's a lot they learn through osmosis, which doesn't happen when remote. Hybrid with team days addresses this

@mrjamesob.bsky.social i work under a hybrid contract where I can choose where I work, and apart from times when I am asked to attend the office, I get to decide. In my team we are in the office together once a week and the balance is perfect. Collaborate in the office, focus at home.

I miss being able to post to social media without having to consider the filter I must employ or the context of the post be key. What happened to freedom of expression without fear of the consequence? It feels like we're going backwards.
