Yep, that was my thought, but even more lagged - possibly paying after a year or more. That would also explain the quote:

> Although the amount remains the same, Microsoft says that payments “will be made over a longer period of time.”

Might be going from 1 year later to 2 years later.

SPOILER ALERT: The super-rich don't leave when you tax them, because they can afford to stay where they are. They just tell you they'll leave to stop you raising their taxes.

She had just exited the stall - likely she was just trying to finish using the bathroom (e.g. washing her hands), and being asked to leave was preventing that.

My father had a similar attitude about showing respect for yourself and those around you by dressing well. Well into his retirement, he would still iron his shirt and trousers (including the train-track creases!) even to go to the supermarket or take his grandkids to the park.

Nonsense - the bible in BC times already forbade two men from having sex in a woman's bed, so clearly we were having both kinds of sex before 1869, and therefore were all bisexual before those words were attested.

"Oh, you want to use AI to analyse our customer data? That's a great idea - we should build a proper data warehouse, and pipelines to bring data from all our systems to a single store, so that the AI can access it all!" *deploys a long-awaited data analytics pipeline* "Okay, we're ready for AI now."

Yep, that's a valid concern. @garius.bsky.social is talking about the opposite situation, though - using people's desire and budget for AI to get funding for some non-AI infrastructure projects, with some AI marketing stuff at the end. We should ignore stuff with AI in the flow, as you rightly say.

Especially amusing that searching said corpus doesn't turn up the word "fastidious"... It's funny the difference between how we see ourselves and how we show up...

Idiots with power. Do they not use TRANSportation to get to their undeserved government positions? Do they think that TRANSferring funds from one account to another involves sex hormones? When they check out at the store does the credit-card TRANSaction shift the buyer to another gender?

Where a third party service like Docusign would fall is an open question... Will it matter if it's co-branded? Will it matter who loads the document into the service? All will only be revealed once the courts start issuing rulings...

An important consideration will be, whose AI was it? In the linked case, a key factor was that the chatbot was hosted on the Air Canada website, and held itself out to be representing the company, so its output was binding on them. If you choose an AI to act for you, that might be at your own risk.

We should make this a meme... Trump goes soft on MS-13!

If my google-fu is right, then your missing reference to E4H is hixie.ch/specs/e4h/st...
which I found from references in

Per your numbers, in that time period, solar + wind tripled to 43% and gas doubled to 37%.

So more new solar and wind generation was added than gas?

But the victims do currently have the ability to have guns to defend themselves, and they're still ending up victims, right? None of the victims or bystanders was denied the right to have a gun? And yet the victimization is not being reduced, so guns are not an effective deterrent to victimization?
