When you discover that you can hurt yourself with mental discord, it is daunting. I cannot trust myself to go out in public, espec at a peaceful protest, without a minder.

Criminal defense in the OLD system, became painfully impossible. Too many small details over a lifetime learning how horribly some humans treat other humans, frequently domestically. Then one major FUBAR case at the Federal level that broke all of the defense team. The trauma was intense and varied.

I have become a recluse since moving here 4 years ago. Just trying to keep existing, had to move. Moved away from my entire life, almost. I have my husband, for whom I am eternally grateful. But health, both skeletal, squishy bits, and mental, made me unemployable. Disabled. Leftist. sanguine soil.

To resist, I am going out in public to paint with people I do not know, and who are likely not my allies. But if I cannot find a way to talk to them, I can do nothing aside from displaying signs on my property. I am preparing a list of things I can pleasantly discuss without the pitchforks & torches

Since the strategy of the enemy is to disorient and frighten us, and I live in the reddest area of rural Oklahoma. Unless I want to travel, also problematic, I would be alone amongst people who have mostly not realized why their lives suck worse than usual, but I am a "libtard," and that won't fly.

Am physically and psychologically broken and old. I do not know my disintegrating spine and the IBS would allow me to stand, or walk, or stay at any protest. And if someone, anyone attacked me, I do not believe that I could remain non-violent. That would defeat the purpose.
