i’m excited mainly because pvz on switch has been a thing i’ve been wanting since like 2019 so it actually happening made me ecstatic when i first found out about it

the devs confirmed that they aren’t using ai and that they won’t include any microtransactions or dlc of any kind so the game is esentially a one-time purchase
the microtransaction message on the microsoft store was only there because of the preorder bonus

yeah like they completely redrew potato mine and slightly touched up squash and sunflower for this

i did think that was kinda scummy at first but after thinking about it for a bit i’m not sure if it’s that huge of a deal in this case
they already have all the assets they need at their disposal so i’m not really sure what else they coul’ve done there besides drawing the new key art themselves

it's as bad as people complaining that the cabbage pult on the loading screen uses the design from pvz 2 which would be a valid thing to criticize because it would have been easy to use the right design, but people treated it like it killed their grandma when it was first discovered for some reason

yeah that place feels like a scary alleyway that i can’t look away from for whatever reason
