It was introduced last year. Unfortunately, even with around 75% congressional support they put it on the Union Callender a few months ago which essentially kills it. But i write my representatives every week to remind them about it.

There is an odd law that requires service members who were retired with less than 20 years to forfit dollar for dollar their retirement for VA. There is a bill stalled in Congress called the Major Richard Star Act that would reverse that law for members who were retired due to combat injuries.
