Fun fact: my grandpa was both an observant Jew and the ruling judge in a case that tried to challenge the blue laws (Mack Paramus v Paramus). I asked him about the ruling once because I always assumed it was church-related, and he said that Paramus just needed a break from traffic once a week.

1) dogs have always been allowed on Link in carriers. This is about allowing dogs who don't fit in carriers

2) non-drivers own dogs and need to get them around. This isn't like bringing a dog to a restaurant

The rescue that I got my dog from will let you take an adoptable dog out just for a day or to a brewery or for a hike, so it's basically that!

Congestion pricing is a tool for places with reliable and extensive public transit systems. If someone lives far from a dense area and needs to drive there, it's more likely they'll drive to a transit station since transit is much cheaper than parking fees ($25/day min) in cities.

The poorest commuters use public transit. Car ownership alone is expensive.
