My work life revolves around accessibility and user research. I also write books for children and young adults, watch too much TV, and love seeing alt-tagged pictures of your dogs. Profile picture is a selfie with our pittie petting my head. She/her.
Aw, she's beautiful!

There is a reason every "secret iOS setting" lifehacking article inevitably points to the Accessibility section of system preferences, folks.

But how did that help you decide between Carol and Denis? Did you somehow already have Denis figured out? 😩

Yes! A bestie and I dubbed it "prone phone," because it's even better when you're both lying down, like you're in an 90s movie split-screen scene.

And the third was "Hard by a Great Forest," by (and about) a refugee of the Georgian civil war. Leo Vardiashvili mixes a blunt, funny writing style with a haunted fairytale-mystery plot. #BookSky #LibraryHaul

The second was "The Fox Wife," by Yangsze Choo, a noir folktale/detective novel set in northern China in the early 1900s. The book has two protagonists, the fox wife and the detective, whose stories run parallel to each other for a long time and then ultimately intersect in a very satisfying way.

I'm so excited to hear this, because I just finished Nightwatching and was stunned to learn it was her debut novel. I was riveted! (And deeply freaked out, ha.)
