Completely unprovoked, cops kettled, beat, and fired munitions at the teens. 50-60 were trapped by cops w/o food, water, or medical for hours from the afternoon past midnight.

After midnight on June 28, 1969, bigoted cops raided the Stonewall Inn in New York City. The cops tried to shut down the bar and arrest community members for the crime of “crossdressing.” The cops began taking anyone in a dress into to bathroom to inspect their genitalia.

The cops are now claiming they had a warrant for one of the organizers based on a Drag Story Hour Defense where a Fash claimed to have his phone stolen.
This accusation was disproven from the start, as the Fash streamer was seen streaming from the cell phone on the way out.
