The best console has an X button.
Wrestling is cool.
The coolest DJ that my kids know.
Yep, I’ll accept that too!

I still get shit from my brother @thearcadio.bsky.social about Stadia. 😂 but I was a huge believer in the cloud platform. It received most of its hate early on from people that never gave it a shot. Then Google did what they do and ruined it.

Can you tell us something about Stadia that the internal team was excited about that died when Google pulled the plug?

I do know this but that wouldn’t help when trying to play goldeneye and perfect dark with modern controls, and if it did, you would have to change your controls again when your done playing. Not very convenient.

I should have been more clear. I believe the original option is still there, but I wish they would have added dual stick controls.

It’s a bummer that Nintendo didn’t virtually add that feature in the NSO version.

Amazon US when?

I have never seen an administration this corrupt and inept.

Blame can also be placed on F2P, Microtransactions, shareholders, studio aquesitions, and scalping.
The entire industry needs a reset.

Switch 2 game cases don’t look too bad when they don’t have 100 additional words on the cover!

I feel like an idiot every time I buy an old game physically that I could either play on a service or emulate, but I love the feeling of playing a game on original hardware! I still have my day one Metroid Fusion. Wish I still had Zero Missions though.

But at the end, I would prefer true physical, with a price to match the other consoles, not more.

I see key cards a little differently. Again with all the kids and multiple switch consoles at home, the key cards are easier to share around the house than virtual game share. Also since they are basically an empty shell, I don’t see it holding any value and we will see crazy sales.
December 19, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Not me. I have 3 kids. I’m all for the cheaper option. Hoping that they eventually have a cheaper cart because I too prefer all on cart, but Key Cards aren’t the end of the world for me.
December 19, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I agree. I believe they may decide to go back to key cards if the increase is too much.
December 19, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Next year when this is the norm, I foresee the same people complaining about key cards will start complaining about Switch 2 carts being more expensive than PS5 discs.

My stupid ass in-laws…
December 18, 2025 at 4:24 AM
I agree with that, but I also believe they didn’t think the price of 64gb cards where going to be that expensive and went with one size for cost saving. But that’s just my opinion, as I have zero clue. 😂
Will make an interesting documentary one day.

Or go all digital, which a good amount of the community would have hated.
I honestly believe that they thought that by the time the system dropped, the cartridge price would have been a non issue. And when they realized that it was, it was too late to make smaller carts immediately.
December 17, 2025 at 10:13 PM
The price of chips going up instead of down which historically is the case did come out of left field. It’s the same reason why the ps5, Xbox series, and the OG Switch have all seen price increases. Other options could be make the system disc based which would make the console more expensive,
