🔹 Missing EU legislative proposal for screening, registration and monitoring of asbestos in buildings

👷‍♂️🏗️The European social partners are today in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the context of the decentralised thematic social dialogue for the construction industry (DESOCO) to discuss what is being done and what is still missing at European level, but also the state of play at national level.

In his speech, EFBWW President Bruno Bothua reminded about our joint priorities: fight for democracy and against the Far Right, fight against social dumping, fight to limit subcontracting and for direct jobs, fight for safe and healthy workplaces.

The Quality Jobs Act and Fair Labour Mobility Package must include:

The EFBWW warned that the European construction sector today is not ready for the massive challenges ahead. It is highly fragmented and suffers from considerable labour shortages due to a general lack of attractiveness.
