[18:10 h UTC+1] The helicopters are still extinguishing the fire on #ElHierro, but I have heard that the fire can now be contained within a defined perimeter. This is important, because the sun sets on El Hierro at 8:42 p.m. (UTC+1) tonight, which means there are still a good two hours left to fly.

Not yet extinct, but the firefighters in #Tenerife are successfully working on keeping the zone in a defined perimeter. Relief from the high temperatures on Wednesday.

Due to the high temperatures not unexpected, there are always heedless people, a forest fire started on #Tenerife around 14h today, Monday 28th of July.
