It's always a bit weird to come across my own work in searches. I guess it proves I'm in the same field, from which I'm searching? This time my recently published essay "The political economy of ecofeminist degrowth" came to my attention. The other alert item is super interesting, downloaded!

I'm in the middle of an article manuscript revision crunch and pre-examining a Phd thesis. A full January!

(3) I participated in a book club on 'Moral Ambition: How to Stop Wasting Your Talent and Start Making a Difference' by Rutgers Bregram. While some disagreed with parts of the analysis, most were inspired by the invitation to stop work in bullshit jobs. Let's strive towards an ecofeminist world.

(2) was the first meeting for all #Puistokatu4 returning and new researcher and agent members. The event was organised by the skilful staff. The house for science and hope is something that concretely provides a space for imagination, prefiguration, and action.

The panel highlighted the way Ele Alenius had ground breaking ideas, in addition to a long political career. He definitely had moral ambition. FYI viewing the film, it's possible to order it to be screened in various locations. I'll post directions when they are available.

What a week of culminations 🎉

(1) Wednesday was the premier of the documentary 'Onko tulevaisuudella toivoa, Ele Alenius' produced by #kslopintokeskus I was one of the interviewed experts back in May 2024. The movie is touching, informative and hopeful.

I updated my website to include info on my project "Transformative work practices" funded by the University of Eastern Finland (2023-2026). I examine the enablers and barriers for sustainability transformations at work from the perspective of transformative workers.
