I was worried this album was going to bum me out but it’s pretty upbeat by Sparklehorse standards. Perhaps his best album, imho

For real. And it gets better with each listen. I think it’s already my favorite Sparklehorse album.

Same. I remember reading about this album when he passed and I’ve always wondered if/when it would ever see the light of day. I’m so glad they decided to release it.

He was putting finishing touches on this album before committing suicide in 2010. After years of consideration and collaboration with contemporaries, the family finally felt it was time to release it. And it’s good!

It’s so good man. What a treat.

I went in with tempered expectations which were far and away exceeded. It’s great!
