Can anyone tell me why our past presidents- both republican and democratic aren't screaming at the top of their lungs about what is happening in our country?!? Why aren't they doing anything? They have to see what is going on- the takeover of our democracy by a fascist!

Devastating news- Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were murdered in their home by a man imitating a police officer in the middle of the night- Senator Hoffman and his wife were also attacked and so far have made it through surgery- prayers for all.

I'm sad that we obviously have multiple generations of people that don't understand history, experts in their fields or that their lives will most certainly get worse as the republicans kill our democracy how do they not see it? The lies, lies, lies...

I've been doom scrolling for awhile- the question that comes to mind is "How?" How do we change the trajectory of our country short of civil war? The repubs don't care or are too afraid to do their jobs?!? So HOW???
