honestly I think the more telling thing is that while they stopped 24 things in the previous 3 years... that was more than they stopped in the 8 years before that??? like interfering with one thing every 3 months was above average for a huge amount of time

for all this shitposting, I do think Kel is the most relatable, Alanna has incredible magic and is chosen by a god, Daine has unusual magic and is the daughter of a god. Kel is just stubborn, it's not that no one else has trials, but it does get talked about in Squire, when Alanna says Kel is real.
