The title is too silly for the tone of the fic, but it was my working title for so long I can't think of anything else haha Title: Skate or Die, Dude Summary: This chapter takes place sometime between chapters 18 and 23 of Coming Around Again, during the year 1 summer arc. Mallory has begun tutoring Alex and thus spending more time with him than ever, his thoughts turning to his crush on him. While daydreaming he runs into Sam, who he is supposed to be avoiding. Some headcanons/plans for the story:
- Sam, Seb, and Abigail are successful rockstars about to start a national tour along with their bassist Brooks (not shown) in their band The Pelicans. - Jas and Vincent are in college, Jas is big into sports and played gridball on her high school team and is now playing it in college while Vincent's free-spiritedness has lead him down a path kind of like Emily where he's very in tune with natural energy and crystals and the like (and he's gnc!! :3) - Mal and Alex are preparing for Mal to step into a new role as Mayor of Pelican Town in the very near future while grappling with fatherhood as Leo comes into their lives. - Penny hasn't made much change at all while the people around her have all grown and begun moving on with their lives, which has put a strain on her relationship with Maru (not shown). - Rob has run away from home with the intent to join The Pelicans, but things don't go exactly as planned and he ends up in Pelican Town instead. His best friends Sho and Gabe run defense for him while his father Teddy tries to get him to come back home by any means necessary.
