A chrome Tesla logo is talking to us… Panel One: “Hi. It’s me, Tesla. I used to be associated with saving the world! But today my brand image could not be any worse! Panel Two: I see the way you look at me now, with distain and disgust! That really hurts! Sure, we’ve rolled out some really dodgy products and constantly lied about our cars’ capabilities and safety records, but come on! Panel Three: Now my stock is tanking and everyone associates the Tesla brand with nazis! They call me the swasticar and burn me and my chargers! And only because my billionaire owner Elon is responsible for the destruction of thousands of lives and helping destroy American democracy. Sheesh! Panel Four: Sure, he did a couple of innocent Nazi salutes and supports Nazi groups but it’s unbelievably unfair and you are all horrible people and I’m going to drive you all to prison camps! At that moment, a Volkswagen logo steps in and whispers “Don’t worry, give it some time. They’ll eventually forget the whole Nazi thing.”
