That could well be it - I wonder if Kent is a better name when selling to both overseas students and the home office than Greenwich is.

Given the news about Greenwich and Kent today I went searching for his viewpoint and was confused as to my inability to find him. So thank for confirming it wasn't me being an idiot

The reversal of NI should be 3p on base rate income tax. Implemented last year reversing the WFA and it would have been hard for OAPs to argue against it...

A lot of the hotels were the go to places in say the 1980s-2010 and have simply not kept up with the times.

Add on nostalgia and the fact memories are fluid (so things that happened years ago feel more recent) and you can see why an ancient hotel now used for asylum seekers may upset older people

I would have gone for 3p on income tax while keeping the WFA for all - that would make the poorest pensioners better off but everyone over £20,000 or so paying a bit more tax

Given that EasyJet charge £48 a bag - £1.20 isn't exactly much of a commission for the abuse the workers will get.

Because they've never heard of Booths - posh Lancashire Supermarket chain (makes Waitrose look like Farmfoods) and maker of tote bags designed to carry a pile of shopping.

Bluesky a post with a link gets the exact amount of traction as a post without a link

I pointed out elsewhere that every cup winner has that f***ing embarrassing result after which the team jelled and they went on to win the trophy.

Hopefully this was it but equally losing to Senegal isn't exactly as embarrassing as losing to a European team.

Got to ask how that got past the first hour of accessibility testing.

Let's just hope we can turn it off..

You seem to have missed my question from your answer.

Give me a real of hypothetical example where having an id card is going to result in you having problems because I can’t think of any such scenario

And 20 years ago I campaigned with No2Id but that was because of data access scope creep.
June 6, 2025 at 1:53 PM
Sorry you haven’t an actual example, just if buts and maybes attached to the fact you’ve probably never been somewhere that has them.

I remember doing a banking project in Austria and the confirm identity story was look at id card and press yes / no.

The uk equivalent story is a 45 stage flowchart
June 6, 2025 at 1:47 PM
In what way that they couldn’t do the same without you showing them your id card.

Literally give me an actual real world example because I can’t think of a single reason why your id card would change I thing for the worse
