We provide metal, wood and 3D printing workshop facilities, a computer lab with an electronics workbench and a dedicated laser cutting room. There is also social/communal space with A/V equipment for meetings, lectures and workshops.

LEDs wired up, may change the resistors because it's a bit brighter than I fancied. I'm going to write the sequence procedures in first and see how it looks, but it's probably too bright to be even slightly canon.

Today the scary laser got a new shiny base to reduce airflow. Plan is to fully seal it with ventilation tape except for the extractor we have been building!

The engraving test went fine with no drama. It's very quick and the detail level impressive. Now we're bikeshedding building an enclosure and safety interlocks. We have an actual pair of decent glasses but even they won't be foolproof protection and you also need to protect members that walk past.
