So I’m not done with it yet but I made another piece with a #SpixsMacaw!
I made the initial art in a small sketchbook then printed out the line art in a bigger size & went over it in markers. I still need to glue everything down and cut out a branch and tbh I’m not 100% sure on the background yet

I’ve never sewn my own clothing so it intimidates me a bit; I’ve made a few plushies before and I’m cool with them being wonky but if I have a bad seam on clothes it can end up bad lol

I don’t have the right color to fill in the white sections with his cream/“sand” colored fur but I drew my boy Melon ^^

So this isn’t my usual style, but I’m trying to make a #skeleton #Styracosaurus themed character (that will hopefully become a fursuit for sale a few years into the future!!)

Also his enclosure has live plants and the grow light is purple, he’s a crestie gecko or a crestie for a shorter name lol

I definitely need practice drawing these guys, they look so silly imo and usually I associate larger birds with being more elegant but less expressive (idk how to word it but I’m not trying to insult them😅)

The only problem is that I don’t draw reptiles often but that’s just an excuse to practice more
Also I worry if they’d sell, would anyone be interested in a finished version of this? I have a simple doodle but haven’t made the full art yet, I don’t plan on getting a ton and want one for myself
