Goodness! This seasonal version of a Shipwreck Shake is available at Kuchie's on the Water in Creve Coeur IL, a suburb of Peoria. They ordered 10 cases of the Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes (800). (reposted by my SIL)

Went to the Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts festival in Cary for the first time, though I've lived in the Triangle for decades. Nila the cat was on my shuttle from the festival back to the parking area at a school. She was not happy to be there 😿

UPDATE: CHPD says that they found a deceased individual in the Siena Hotel on East Franklin street.

The individual is believed to have started multiple fires within the building early Friday morning. Police say they do not know the motive, or if they have ties to the hotel.
Chapel Hill Police say they’ve shut down East Franklin Street between Estes Drive and Elliott Road as their crisis unit communicates with an individual who’s barricaded themselves inside the Siena Hotel.

Here's what we know:

Too early for Halloween (some would disagree). Michael's has a Sweet and Spooky collection 😂. I admit I do like the pink Disco Cat (also available in black or silver). From the Durham Renaissance Village location.

This baby (nephew's grandchild) has gotten more baseballs at games in her first 6 months than I have in my whole life. First in St Louis, from Stephen Matz. Others at Peoria Chiefs.

First time on the F bus in many years! My 1st years in Chapel Hill I lived on the F route and rode it 2-3x/day. I used it to shop once I moved close to campus. Now it runs only 2x morning and mid afternoon 😢 I get where I need to go on other buses. But I'll always have fond memories of the F bus.

Made a new friend, Patrick from Belfast Ireland, at the Cards-Nats game. His 3rd MLB game. @dcredbird.bsky.social explained the intricacies of scoring a game to him. He's a bowler in cricket and one of his buddies keeps score there.⭐ Plus we saw an Eric Fedde complete game shut out. #SABR
