also just wanna reiterate that many people knew this was a cycle, since the cycle is referenced many times across different media associated with this story, and it would be remiss to ignore such a prevalent theme throughout the lore—both metaphorical and in universe

if everything is up to interpretation, there is no story. there is a plot (objective) and themes (objective) but it’s up to the audience to figure out what those themes really mean in relation to the story (subjective)
