It's a decade since Obergefell v. Hodges legalized same-sex marriage nationwide, a landmark victory for love, dignity, & basic equal rights.
We married several times in New Orleans as well as in New York, surrounded every time by family & dearest friends.

While sorting and packing up all of the jewelry I loaned to the production of Once Upon A Mattress, I simply had to put Queen Agravaine's necklace onto Maxie. Not only did it fit perfectly, but he loved it.

The Mystic Krewe of Barkus has opted to parade on March 9th, due to the rain inundation we face today. So there are no parades in Orleans or Jefferson Parishes today.
Sorry everyone! Sometimes rainouts happen, and at least all parades have been allowed to reschedule rather than being cancelled.
