It would suck to have no soccer games in the summer, with kids out of school etc.

So from a practical standpoint, how would they schedule the switch? Play a mini season Feb '26 - May '26, take a break for the summer / world cup then resume in fall of 26 for the 26/27 season?

Hi, I'm from Marin county. I can tell you that apartment building will be enormous, an absolute eyesore, destroy several local businesses, take away public space, dominate the town and only house rich people. Not a good thing for Fairfax.

Right? I spent the morning watching boats sailing on a gentle breeze on the Willamette, the afternoon cycling through a bird sanctuary and the evening cheering on a soccer team. Hellish place, this.
