We had a killer workout at The Dogg Pound CrossFit today, & now a 4th of July Party.

Things are not great in America right now, but I remain hopeful as we move forward justice will prevail. The midterms can’t come soon enough

I spent the better part of an hour on the side of a lonely rural highway in New Mexico with this lonely tree filming (FINALLY) the opening to my upcoming YouTube series.
It was high winds and thus more dramatic and challenging than I expected but worth it.

On my fitness quest I’ve learned that I need to eat WAY more than I normally do- and need about 3x the protein I’ve been having. I’m very lean but have been gassing out lately and I’m learning about my protein needs and getting into nutrition more seriously. (Anyone have an opinion opinion on Huel?)

I've been doing CrossFit, and it has been amazing- I suffered trauma that hospitalized me half a year and almost killed me.
I have been fighting to get fit and strong for years, and now I'm seeing breakthroughs and really upping my fitness levels.

Friday night competing in CrossFitOpen 🦾
After years of recovering from trauma that hospitalized me half a year, I cannot stress enough how incredible it is to push myself *hard* again.
Beyond the awesome physical benefits for my body, the mental side has been amazing too. ❤️

I know the world is on fire…. it feels like everyone posting about the awful (and it *is* awful) are everywhere. I participated like everyone else on twitter, now am wondering if every platform will eventually default to all rage posting, all the time.

I quit twitter a few days ago.
I was living in San Francisco when I joined Twitter and it was new.
Social media always attracted the early adopters and thoughtful people first… and I know I’m not the first to say it, but Twitter has turned into toxic poison for me. It’s sad but I had to go
