So, there’s a lot about working with animals that teaches you about working with kids. This is a ‘toddler’ age dog, with lots of need for work and stimulation. And he ❤️s the grooming vacuum. After about 5 minutes, he was chill. The other dog, different breed & older, avoids it. 🧵

Finding the balance in the holidays, to do things that create warmth, connection, and understanding- not a checklist of things to finish. A mindset, not necessarily easy.
Also, to continue to curl up with a book. And cranberry bread. 💞 Holidays: big emotions, mixed & complicated, simple & deep.
