HOWEVER, there will be plenty of other minor sulfur-containing species that will, almost certainly, smell like farts (every bottle of sulfuric acid I’ve ever worked with sure has). So if you can get through the acid burn, I’m pretty sure you’ll be smelling farts

I’m a chemist! There’s essentially no way to get to hydrogen sulfide from sulfuric acid with just water (now maybe you’re pretty close to a star that makes it really hot and some weird chemistry becomes possible, but I still don’t think you’ll get there in any meaningful quantity)
