Just another inhumane and sad action being taken by this administration. Fortunately our coalition of electorates have a better moral compass. Lots of injustices that will need to be corrected once we get the right people willing to right the wrongs into office both locally and nationally.

It does not need to be this way. Our coalition of electorates should support candidates that will fight for Universal Healthcare. Every single person covered, no worsening of chronic conditions and premature death because of lack of coverage, no healthcare bankruptcy, better health outcomes. We can!

NU sold out. They have become complicit with an administration that challenges the integrity of scientific research, is censoring the media, is attacking free speech, is endangering our democracy and our climate, and is abandoning the rule of law. They balked at the chance to speak truth to power.

I hope we can all acknowledge that some of our coalition call this a National Day of Mourning. If we can reflect on our true history we can still celebrate a Festival of Thanks so that we acknowledge that Thanksgiving was based on a sanitized history.

This idea is good for the moment but better if everyone would embrace being very socially conscious consumers all the time. Think about the corporations ethics, their carbon footprint, their labor practices, benefits, wage structure, and tax benefit to the community. Demand more before shopping.

I have been a long time supporter of universal healthcare. In my earlier years following PNHP they would make the financial case why universal healthcare would ultimately be better and more cost efficient for our country. With these newer platforms I would love to see that information get shared

This is a very important message. But it should not be limited to our courageous military personnel. Our civil servants, our police, our sheriffs, our border patrol, our ICE officers, our justice department, and all citizens should not follow unlawful orders but be true to the rule of law.

I want to call attention to MSNBC “Morning Joe”. There have been a few guest and some host commentaries that have repeatedly suggested that nothing significant will come from the release of the Epstein files. Hard to watch as many brave women seek justice and vindication for abuse by the privilege
November 19, 2025 at 12:21 PM
These brave and courageous women are slowly gaining traction and a large coalition of supporters have joined in their efforts. No doubt that we are going to see a different strategy from the DOJ to protect Trump and Friends but I don’t think this coalition will back down. Speak truth to power.✊

I agree with many including Bernie Sanders. What this coalition (movement) of electorates should be concentrating on is electing representatives that will promote universal healthcare for all, reverse citizens united, and make needed party and election reforms. The long game not a short vindication
November 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM
Our country has 30% Democrats, 30% Republicans, and 40% others. This current coalition to save our democracy will have mixed review of this senate action. Some will be angry at the democrats while others would be sentimental to unpaid federal workers and hungry children. We need a good long game.
November 10, 2025 at 4:06 PM
I agree. But to even get close to an improved Medicare for All we need to get big (dark) money out of politics, our elections, and our political parties. Reverse citizen united and end gerrymandering. Have our elected representatives truly represent us and not be influenced by big donors.
November 10, 2025 at 3:55 PM
For moral sustainability we need an improved Medicare for all, a coalition of electorates that demand election reform to have a true representative government, sustain our democracy, have humane domestic and foreign policies, and uncensored schools, press, and scientific research. Epstein Files now.
November 9, 2025 at 11:20 AM
There is some truth here but for the wrong reason. These subsidies do enrich insurance companies and are costly to tax payers. But that is because the system is broken. With a "improved Medicare" for all we can have universal coverage, save on the administrative cost and profits, a improve care.
November 9, 2025 at 11:11 AM
No doubt this coalition of electorates are trying to save our democracy and our constitution. But hear the few voices that are concern about this being to much about the democratic party. It can't be and without true election reform our energy will only yield marginal changes and little meaningful.
November 8, 2025 at 8:34 PM
They are systematically "disappearing" many of our valuable coalition of citizens who believe in the constitution, the rule of law, and our democracy. Our LGBTQIA+ community, immigrants, people of color, free press and academia, federal workers, voters... This is why we need to continue to resist
November 7, 2025 at 12:10 PM
I hope we don’t make this about the Democratic Party. This was a coalition of citizens (many independents) who joined at this moment in support of our constitution and democracy. But without election reform that limits big money influence in our elections and political parties change will be small
November 6, 2025 at 10:09 PM
The message is Healthcare is a basic human right. All the talk about affordability and cost is because it is for profit. Give everyone an improved Medicare and remove the profit (private insurance) motives and we all benefit.
November 6, 2025 at 9:44 PM
All our like-minded electorate should be congratulated for these election results. Again, this is not about party but people. Improve our democracy and adhere to our constitution with meaningful election reform and remove media and academic censorship to ensure an educated electorate. Great Job!!
November 5, 2025 at 11:12 AM
I agree that this is not good “health” media. But what they are also not writing about is that many patients and healthcare providers support an improved Medicare for all. Universal healthcare for everyone. For profit healthcare is flawed in so many ways and patients and providers know it.
October 31, 2025 at 10:52 PM
Our coalition of citizens that believe in our constitution and hope to save (and improve) our democracy know how much the big business community depend on our holiday spending. Boycott companies that have been complicit with this administration. Support our small businesses during the holiday season
October 30, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Both "religious" institutions and our "political" parties can run amok when they lose sight of their fundamental guiding principles. Shared humanity, core spirituality, common decency, the "Golden Rule", gerrymandering, "Citizen's United", and complicity with the denigration of our constitution.
October 30, 2025 at 10:10 AM
Agree. This is so fundamental to having a true representative government and a true democracy. Overturn Citizens United, end gerrymandering, and nationwide election reform. Our elected officials need to be responsive to the electorate and not big donors. Political parties also need some reforms.
October 29, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Yes... reverse Citizen United, end gerrymandering, make needed election reforms, and have a true representative government; then the collective humanity of our true democracy can demand humane foreign and domestic social policies that will improve all our lives. No human is illegal or undervalued.
October 29, 2025 at 10:01 AM
We need the press speaking truth to power in support of our democracy (and not just have "hissy fits" with republicans or democrats). Encourage a coalition of citizens in support of overturning Citizen United, ending gerrymandering, adhering to our constitution, and a true representative government.
