Winona, congratulations on five thousand followers! I am sharing my favorite sculpture, a faux taxidermy named Mortimer, seen here wearing a festive holiday hat. I would be delighted to hear what you think. #art #fauxtaxidermy #animalart

Another WTF item from Oriental Trading Company... I clicked the link, it's very serious. Ad from Facebook.

Two of the six snowman ornaments I'm selling this year. Hand-painted and customized with a red fuzzy scarf. Each is $22, with free shipping for the U.S.A. Send me a message if you're interested in owning an Ed Tucciarone Christmas ornament this year! More to come soon, possibly!

Here is a photo from earlier in the year of my next faux taxidermy. It's the wooden armature that goes inside the styrofoam sculpture. I'll take a picture of that stage soon. #fauxtaxidermy #animalart #art

Here are some robot ornaments that I've made in years past. I don't have any more of these--they all sold out!

This kind? I should think that would make very good spider legs.

In what has been an on-again, off-again tradition, I am once again producing Christmas ornaments for sale. This is one design (I got it at Michaels) that I am currently painting. I will have six available. Let me know if you're interested.

Here is my third faux taxidermy, Ludwig. He's supposed to be a deer but I took some liberties. He came out way bigger than I expected and his nose sucks, but he's finished and I like him.

Here is Jerome, my second faux taxidermy. He is 100% artificial, too. His horns were cast from real horns, but they're plastic. He's loosely based on a blesbok antelope. They are found in South Africa and are my favorite animal. :)

Here is the first faux taxidermy I made. His name is Mortimer. I based him loosely on the sable antelope. He is 100% artificial, with acrylic plush felt "skin" and sculpted eyes, horns, and teeth. His nose came out the best of all my sculpts.

Here's my very first Blue Sky post. Oliver the Cat. I hope you like him as much as I do! Well, maybe not that much.
