My dog is outside eating deer poop and refuses to come inside. This is going to be painful for both of us.

Guess he is taking that “never ride alone” mantra seriously.

Two week ago me: “I am going to make the week before break so much fun! Fourth graders are going to make catapults and third graders are going to build with Play-Doh! It will be amazing.”

This week me: “What have I done?”

Every Tuesday morning a student stops in my STEM lab to get a preview of the activity we are doing later in the day. Today I got his stamp of approval as we are coding mazes for our Ozobots. I work hard for his approval because he used to stop by and tell me that he hated me & STEM. 😂 #STEM

Me: “When you open this marker box, there is a little space for your thumb to gently open the flap without ripping the box.”

My cat, Sunny, broke into the cabinet, pulled out the nip, and shared it with his brother. Now I am going to have to be the bad guy and cut Steve off.

I have been working with behavioral leadership since I started back in the classroom this year. It's hard when I have 800 students and can't learn all of their names. However, you are supposed to pick a saying to let kids know they need to listen. I picked, "I got no time for jibba jabba." #EduSky

I taught 3 & 4 grade today. I was crop dusted no less than 5 times in 7 classes, which makes me wonder, was it on purpose or coincidental? I was also hugged a bunch, told I was pretty, my glasses were cool, & my shoes were neat. I guess the crop dusting is a fair trade for love.
