Every few months I get caught up in a Brian Wilson / Beach Boys hole, discovery this time is this fantastic quote about the time Don Henley met Brian Wilson.
Eagles frontman was backstage with an original copy of Pet Sounds and asked Wilson to sign the record. Brian Wilson stated “I wrote on his record, ‘To Don: Thanks for all the great songs. Brian Wilson’ Don was so grateful. It was almost like he couldn’t talk. He turned to leave. ‘Hey Don’, I said. ‘Wait a second.’ I took the record back, crossed out ‘great’ and wrote ‘good’. Some people would have been mad, but Don just looked at it and laughed.”

At the Philly art museum yesterday and was captivated by “La tentation de Saint Antoine" 17th century according to Jacques Callot. So much to look at and so many demon buttholes
17th century engraving close up where a demon is riding a flying frog like creature holding a long sword while another demon is stabbing a butthole of a flying creature trying to get away. In the background a dragon type creature appears to wield lightning in his talons. Demons rejoice outside the castle walls. A mouse with a crown looks out a a gallows where a demon is standing on the shoulders of a hung creature, dangling amongst the chaos A brace shrimp knight with a battle axe is advancing forward with a smoke emitting lantern. In the background you can see a demon impaled by arrows with his butthole showing. Demons surround the only living man and women that were trying to take refuge under a bridge. Swords, hammers, and other implements are raised to strike the two whom are chained to the ground.
