These ties are talismans that help me accept the onset of wrinkles. One day, I will look old enough to wear the 70's tie that my grandfather wore in the design offices of the steel mills in eastern France. 💅

Now I have inherited a beautiful collection of ties from three generations of paternal ancestors. 60 years ago, it was the norm to wear them to work in an office. Now, it's impossible to wear them outside of weddings; it's not socially acceptable when you're young.

The device stores the seed of the private key in its secure element. We simply need to ask it to generate a public key from this seed and display it to us in the DID format. I have chosen the m/🦋'/0 derivation path.

I took the opportunity to use one of these devices with the largest screen to demonstrate an app I am developing to manage PLC operations.

This is a problem that other technologies have faced, and the Atproto documentation provides hints on how to handle it.

On the PDS, your content is signed by an asymmetrical key, often hosted on the same server. Its public key is stored in the PLC directory under your global identifier. This way, the ecosystem has a link between your identity and your content.
