So, let me see if I have my timeline straight. This morning Disney announces a partnership with OpenAI including an IP license deal. This afternoon Disney sues Google for infringement of their IP. This really seems like "OpenAI convinces Disney to sue Google" and combined with last week's DRAM […]

So now Mozilla, the company that keeps spending money on AI things their users do not want or on open standards any longer, is now prompting us to donate to them when I launch the browser in a new tab. Lovely! I shall be donating more to Servo and Verso instead. #takebacktheweb indeed

Got to love emails from the landlord: "We wanted to make you aware of an upcoming change to maintenance requests. As of yesterday, you can no longer submit requests through [previous system]." You are using the word "upcoming" and I do not believe it means what you think it means.

FYI for other weirdos like me: the new Trixie based RPi OS Desktop images are wayland based so they are beyond slow on an RPi2 if you want a desktop. You've been warned. You may want to just get the Light image and then install lxde and Xorg yourself instead for a better experience.
