Because it played to the basest of behaviors and allowed America to shamelessly show who and what it really was. Not an impediment to his election, but catalyst for the US to show its true colors.

Why is that relevant? If it’s a thinly veiled racism accusation just look at the most successful QBs in the league today as well as rookies drafted the last 3 drafts. You get a shot if you’re humble, focused, and don’t bring a circus - your skin doesn’t matter.

There is a vast difference between confidence and cockiness/arrogance. It’s been widely reported that many execs said his interviews were some of the worst formal interviews they ever had due to his entitlement. He really needs to work on himself from what it sounds like.

EXACTLY! We all know this shouldn’t have happened is clearly blaming others and not introspectively looking at himself as to why he didn’t get selected. If his position is that it’s their fault because they didn’t take him and not something wrong with himself then it’s easy to see why he slid.
