Reflecting today on the absolute evil of antisemitism as such tragic scenes unfold here in Manchester. I’m also incredibly grateful to the people who rush towards danger and have almost certainly saved many lives this morning.

The NFL has absolutely taken over Dublin. It feels almost like a Super Bowl here, with a ton of buzz, gratitude and stories of Bill Murray sightings. Steelers fans are absolutely everywhere.

Political violence from any party or any ideology is a direct assault on the foundations of democracy and the rule of law; it seeks not to persuade but to intimidate, not to debate but to destroy.

Always sad to see ‘politics of students’ used in such a derogatory way… bit disingenuous in particular to the students who voted for, organised for and door knocked for Labour 12 months ago!

FWIW the country would be in a better place if Westminster politics more closely mirrored student politics!

I love the BBC… but it’s wild that it’s political editor is blogging like this, doesn’t cover any actual content (Covid gives king cancer, Judeo Christian country, call a state of emergency immediately after taking office… etc) and instead just does ‘vibes and feeling’

Chris Mason: Reform conference shows party's growing ambition like never before
The conference feels like that of a big party - but retains the insurgency vibe that the party is seeking to channel.

In my lifetime I don’t think any England side, in any sport, has been as likeable or as easy to support as this England team… the fact that they’re also the most successful is *chefs kiss*…
