It was great to hear from Lilian Schofield on her 5-step model for aligning #AI in #CurriculumDesign - I thought it was especially helpful to emphasise starting with the Learning Outcomes - a really insightful talk!

To show the difference between correlation and causation, I also shared this curious correlation from Tyler Vigen between margarine consumption and the divorce rate in Maine. What's your favourite example of a spurious correlation?

Per capita consumption of margarine correlates with The divorce rate in Maine (r=0.993)
Perhaps as people used less margarine, they became less slippery in their relationships. The lack of artificial spread may have kept the couples from buttering each other up, leading to a decrease in ...
